Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Yardi Developer and Custom Report Writer to join our technology team. This role is responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Yardi modules, building custom reports using SQL, YSR, SSRS, or Crystal Reports, and supporting data integrations between Yardi and other business systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager, a strong SQL background, and the ability to translate
business requirements into effective technical solutions and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom reports within Yardi using SQL, YSR, and/or other reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Crystal Reports).
- Create stored procedures, views, and queries to support data extraction, analysis, and report generation.
- Customize Yardi modules and workflows to support business processes and user needs.
- Support new Yardi implementations, module rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Work closely with business users to gather report requirements and translate them into scalable and accurate reports.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between Yardi and external systems (e.g., accounting, CRM, BI platforms).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Yardi functionality, data integrity, or customizations.
- Maintain documentation of customizations, reports, and development changes.
- Support ongoing training and knowledge sharing with end users and other team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager, including technical configuration, customizations, and module support
- Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL preferred) with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance
- Experience with Yardi custom reporting tools such as:
- Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting (YSR)
- Report Scheduler / Custom Dashboards
- Familiarity with Yardi tables and schema
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional, user-friendly reports
Preferred Skills
- Experience with real estate domains: residential, commercial, affordable housing, LIHTC, etc.
- Knowledge of Yardi modules such as PayScan, Job Cost, Fixed Assets, or Rent Café
- Experience with API integrations or middleware (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau)
- Yardi certifications (preferred but not required)

D2D consultants are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, communication, and ethical conduct. These expectations include:
Professionalism and Conduct
- Present a clean, neat, and tasteful appearance appropriate to your role whenever representing D2D, whether in person or virtually.
- Be prepared for the workday and arrive on time for scheduled work, meetings, and events. If tardiness or absence is unavoidable, notify both your D2D supervisor and the client as soon as possible. Frequent or unexcused absences or lateness may result in disciplinary action.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior at all times, including safeguarding confidential information and refraining from theft, negligence, destruction, or unauthorized removal or misuse of D2D or client property.
- Ensure that participation in outside professional organizations does not interfere with job performance or client obligations.
Communication and Reporting
- Communicate proactively with clients and D2D management regarding timelines, deliverables, delays, and project status. Consultants are required to provide status updates to their direct manager at least weekly.
- Submit all work time into the time management system by the end of each Friday to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Salary Range
- $110,000 to $130,000 per year
