Job Description

We are seeking a Support Consultant to join our Help Desk team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing first-level software and technical support with a strong focus on real estate platforms such as Yardi and RealPage. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues, offering product guidance, assisting with product testing, and contributing to training documentation. In addition to supporting existing clients, you will also

engage with prospective clients by introducing them to D2D’s services and contributing to business development efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, software expertise, and a client-focused mindset to help deliver exceptional support and strengthen client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

 

Client Engagement & Support Delivery

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the D2D Consulting team, ensuring responsive and professional communication.
  • Respond to all prospective client inquiries received through Salesforce, emails or referrals.
  • Use expertise in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) to support current and prospective clients.
  • Provide first-level support for software and basic networking issues, escalating as needed.
  • Maintain detailed communication records and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

 

Software Knowledge & Technical Support

  • Apply working knowledge of Yardi and/or RealPage platforms to support troubleshooting and configuration questions.
  • Assist clients with navigation, basic setup, and general software inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to share system updates, identify common issues, and propose solutions.
  • Support data entry, testing, and system documentation when needed.

 

Sales & Client Relationship Management

  • Build positive relationships with prospective clients to support D2D’s growth and client engagement goals.
  • Communicate D2D’s capabilities and services effectively to potential clients.
  • Identify opportunities to connect prospective clients to the appropriate D2D consultants for deeper support or project work.

 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with other D2D team members to deliver seamless client support.
  • Relay client feedback and system needs to consultants and leadership to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.

 

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 3–5 years of professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience using Yardi and/or RealPage software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and interest in continuous learning.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working directly with clients or in a client-facing role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.

D2D Consultant Expectations

D2D consultants are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, communication, and ethical conduct. These expectations include:


Professionalism and Conduct

  • Present a clean, neat, and tasteful appearance appropriate to your role whenever representing D2D, whether in person or virtually.
  • Be prepared for the workday and arrive on time for scheduled work, meetings, and events. If tardiness or absence is unavoidable, notify both your D2D supervisor and the client as soon as possible. Frequent or unexcused absences or lateness may result in disciplinary action.
  • Always demonstrate ethical behavior, including safeguarding confidential information and refraining from theft, negligence, destruction, or unauthorized removal or misuse of D2D or client property.
  • Ensure that participation in outside professional organizations does not interfere with job performance or client obligations.


Communication and Reporting

  • Communicate proactively with clients and D2D management regarding timelines, deliverables, delays, and project status. Consultants are required to provide status updates to their direct manager at least weekly.
  • Submit all work time into the time management system by the end of each Friday to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Salary Range

  • $70,000 - $85,000
