Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Project Manager to join our consulting team. This role is responsible for leading multiple projects from planning through delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and communication. The Project Manager will develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and change management strategies; proactively identify risks; and foster collaboration across internal teams, executives, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in real estate technology platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar systems is highly valued, along with the ability to translate business needs into actionable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project management plans, schedules, budgets, and team management practices to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of multiple projects.
- Identifying opportunities and solutions to optimize projects and internal business operations
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
- Provide reports to executives and internal leadership on project progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Develop change management plans for projects or other initiatives, evaluates the impact of organizational change, identifies, and address potential risk, and manages anticipated resistance to change.
- Identify and communicate project risks and appropriately mitigating risk utilizing and a mitigation plan.
- Creating unity across project team members and effectively managing consistent, cohesive communication between all parties.
- Initiating and running project meetings designed to minimize challenges and maximize efficiency.
- Properly document meeting action items and decisions and maintaining project artifacts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities, while driving decisions and alignment with leadership, direct reports, and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status weekly and monthly based on project need.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and coordinate permits and licenses on behalf of the client.
- Serves as prime contact on contracts or projects through all phases of development.
- Creates, builds, and develops interpersonal relationships between D2D, clients, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in IT, consulting, or software implementation environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing direct teams, vendor resources, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- IT software implementation experience
- PMS (Property Management System) software experience
- Real estate software experience
- Strong background in project management, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal team.
Preferred Skills
- 5 or more years of project management experience
- Experience with Yardi, JD Edwards, Great Plains, Entrata, RealPage, MRI, Salesforce, and HRIS systems such as UKG UltiPro, ISIMS and other similar software.
- Relevant certification in project management (PMP, ITIL, CMM, etc.) are preferred but not required.

D2D consultants are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, communication, and ethical conduct. These expectations include:
Professionalism and Conduct
- Present a clean, neat, and tasteful appearance appropriate to your role whenever representing D2D, whether in person or virtually.
- Be prepared for the workday and arrive on time for scheduled work, meetings, and events. If tardiness or absence is unavoidable, notify both your D2D supervisor and the client as soon as possible. Frequent or unexcused absences or lateness may result in disciplinary action.
- Always demonstrate ethical behavior, including safeguarding confidential information and refraining from theft, negligence, destruction, or unauthorized removal or misuse of D2D or client property.
- Ensure that participation in outside professional organizations does not interfere with job performance or client obligations.
Communication and Reporting
- Communicate proactively with clients and D2D management regarding timelines, deliverables, delays, and project status. Consultants are required to provide status updates to their direct manager at least weekly.
- Submit all work time into the time management system by the end of each Friday to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
