Job Description

D2D Consulting is seeking a strategic, client-focused, and technically skilled Senior Consultant, Implementations to lead the successful delivery of software implementation projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. This role is responsible for managing technical implementations from planning through deployment, ensuring projects remain aligned with scope, timelines, and client expectations while serving as the primary point of contact for software-related support and issue resolution. The Senior Consultant, Implementations will oversee system configurations, application monitoring, third-party integrations, data migrations, testing, deployment, and systems access reviews while proactively identifying operational issues and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and end-user satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and close projects across multiple clients 
  • Lead the technical delivery and execution of client software implementation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and contracted statements of work 
  • Configure, install, test, deploy, and support software applications and system integrations across client environments 
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system administration, operational procedures, technical processes, and implementation activities 
  • Create and manage processes for application monitoring, system performance, and third-party interface integrations 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding software-related issues, providing timely troubleshooting, resolution, and ongoing support 
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve operating system, application, and integration issues to minimize disruption and improve system performance 
  • Conduct periodic system access reviews to ensure appropriate security permissions and role-based access alignment 
  • Assess organizational technology needs and system limitations by collaborating with users, vendors, technicians, and leadership teams 
  • Analyze trends and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and end-user experience 
  • Coordinate system transitions, implementation takeovers, and data migration activities for new client properties or environments 
  • Create and deliver training materials, quick reference guides, FAQs, and job aids to support system adoption 
  • Maintain and continuously improve knowledge base resources and technical support documentation 
  • Communicate project updates, system performance, and support needs to stakeholders on a regular basis 
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, certifications, and best practices 


AI / Yardi Virtuoso Focus

  • Utilize Yardi Virtuoso AI capabilities to assist with data analysis, reporting, configuration validation, and user support across Yardi platforms 
  • Develop and maintain AI-enhanced documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources leveraging Yardi Virtuoso capabilities 
  • Use Yardi Virtuoso and AI-powered analytics tools to monitor system performance, identify trends, and recommend process improvements 
  • Apply AI insights to improve implementation efficiency, troubleshooting accuracy, and client outcomes 
  • Support AI-driven enhancements in reporting, forecasting, and operational decision-making 


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of IT management experience, including development work and client-facing delivery
  • Extensive leadership experience managing direct/indirect reports and vendor resources
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a flexible, collaborative culture
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive approach to resolving project challenges and improving client experience
  • Experience working in technical environments involving system implementations and integrations 

  

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Must Have (AI / Yardi Virtuoso)

  • Hands-on experience utilizing Yardi Virtuoso AI capabilities for data analysis, reporting, configuration validation, and user support 
  • Ability to build and maintain AI-enhanced documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources 
  • Experience using AI-driven analytics tools (including Yardi Virtuoso) to monitor system performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements 


Nice to Have

  • Willingness to stay current on emerging AI technologies, including enhancements to Yardi Virtuoso and ERP/property management systems 
  • Experience applying AI-assisted workflows for data migration, reconciliation, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution 
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to evaluate and implement AI tools and develop use cases for reporting, forecasting, and decision-making 
  • Experience leveraging Yardi Virtuoso and AI-driven tools to streamline implementations, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency


D2D Consultant Expectations

D2D consultants are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, communication, and ethical conduct. These expectations include:


Professionalism and Conduct

  • Present a clean, neat, and tasteful appearance appropriate to your role whenever representing D2D, whether in person or virtually.
  • Be prepared for the workday and arrive on time for scheduled work, meetings, and events. If tardiness or absence is unavoidable, notify both your D2D supervisor and the client as soon as possible. Frequent or unexcused absences or lateness may result in disciplinary action.
  • Demonstrate ethical behavior at all times, including safeguarding confidential information and refraining from theft, negligence, destruction, or unauthorized removal or misuse of D2D or client property.
  • Ensure that participation in outside professional organizations does not interfere with job performance or client obligations.


Communication and Reporting

  • Communicate proactively with clients and D2D management regarding timelines, deliverables, delays, and project status. Consultants are required to provide status updates to their direct manager at least weekly.
  • Submit all work time into the time management system by the end of each Friday to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Salary Range

  • $90,000 - $100,000
